In order to promote SNSD’s new Japanese album, British singer C.J. Lewis worked on Korean idol group SNSD hit track “GENIE” for an English remix version of their hit song!

The song – which was uploaded onto Universal Music Japan’s official YouTube channel – takes an edgier uptempo twist on the catchy pop song. Although the video is just a teaser, the song features lines that are entirely in English and promises an official release sometime this July.

Yesterday, we reported on how a Loen Entertainment producer hinted at the release of a new song from IU. The song has just been unveiled, and as expected, it’s an OST track for the popular drama series, “The Greatest Love“.

Remaining true to IU’s vocal color, “Take My Hand” is a bright track that highlights IU’s sweet voice.

This week we shared that SNSD were going to release their 1st Japanese album and now SM Entertainment released a trailer/preview of all the songs that are going to be in it. The album will be released June 1st and it will contain the following songs:

On June 1st, SNSD will be releasing their first Japanese original album “GIRLS’ GENERATION”.

This album will have 12 songs including their hit singles “GENIE”, “Gee”, “Run Devil Run” and “MR. TAXI”. Three types will also be released: Deluxe First Press Limited Edition, Limited Edition and Regular Edition. Among them, the Deluxe First Press Limited Edition copy will be released in a box and include a special mini bag.

SNSD commented: “Our first original album in Japan has been completed! It’s an album packed full of fantastic songs, so we hope that lots of people listen to it. We also hope people look forward to our performance during our tour. Definitely come and visit us!”
