2PM to make their Japanese drama debut in “BOSS 2″

Earlier today it was revealed that Korean boyband 2PM will make an appearance in the currently running “BOSS 2” drama airing on Fuji TV.

The six boys recently recorded their part and played themselves for their role while performing in a club. Osawa Eriko (Amami Yuki), the boss of a unique group of detectives, and one of her subordinates, the gay Iwai Zenji (Kendo Kobayashi) dropped by the club while the group performed their popular song “Heartbeat“.

The producer of the drama explained that, since both Osawa and Iwai are interested in men such asGeorge Clooney, the “Beasts” of 2PM would definitely fit into the category of their ideal types as well. When they were given the opportunity to appear in the drama the group immediately accepted the offer and while some of the members already appeared in Korean dramas, this marks the first time where they all appear in a drama together.

They filmed the scenes in the club earlier this month where 70 lucky fans of 2PM were invited as extras and encouraged to cheer for their idols in order to make it look like a genuine performance. Of course the ending of the “Heartbeat” didn’t miss the obligatory shirt-ripping that increased the excitement of the fans and cast even further.

Amami commented, “They really grabbed my heart, while filming I totally forgot about the drama and just screamed (with the fans). They’re beautiful beasts that sing and dance vibrantly.”

2PM member Junsu stated, “It is an honor for 2PM to appear in this drama.” Furthermore all the members agreed on the incredible charisma of Amami stating, “She is a fascinating female boss.”

The mentioned scene will be part of the sixth episode of “BOSS 2″ that will air on May 26th

Coca Cola releases hot CF teasers with 2PM’s Nichkhun & Taecyeon

Earlier today, Coca Cola released a teaser for their latest CF starring 2PM’s Nichkhun and Taecyeon.

This teaser aims to please, as both Nichkhun and Taecyeon immediately take off their shirts during their intense workout. After a few moments of showing off their glorious abs, they begin to kickbox with one another.

The teaser itself doesn’t say much about what’s in store, and neither does Coca Cola’s website. The website simply states,

“Nichkhun Taecyeon Starting a new challenge“

The audio of 2PM’s upcoming Japanese debut single “Take Off” has been released!

The song is an original Japanese single with a great beat along with catchy lyrics. In addition, the coupling track on the official single will be the Japanese version of their hit Korean song “Heartbeat“.

2PM Take Off teaser

2PM’s Japanese debut single, “Take Off” is set to go on sale on May 18th and as we patiently wait for the release of the single, a video teaser for the track has been released.

The song is an original Japanese single with a great beat and catchy lyrics and the coupling track will be the Japanese version of their hit Korean song “Heartbeat“. 1. Let us know what your name means!

[Junsu] "埈" stands for "high", and "秀" means excellent, so put
together my name's hanja means "high excellence".
[Nichkhun] I don't know T_T
[Taecyeon] Taecyeon means "flowing pond". As I was born in the
year of the Dragon, my name also means "to have a mind of a dragon,
with a heart full of water which does not go stale".
[Wooyoung] 張祐榮. It means "forever overflowing with good fortune".
[Junho] Jun "俊" from "Jungeol" (which means person of excellent
talent and wisdom), and Ho "昊" which means "heaven".
[Chansung] Chan "燦" - shine. Sung "盛" - achieve. It means "Making
an accomplishment by realizing your true self in the light".

2. My boom is?
[Junsu] Composing (I like it the most^^)
[Nichkhun] Boby building

love to see drifting ice.

[Junsu] Eyes, face

hours straight every weekend in my Middle School days. I used to

piece of machinery.
[Chansung] I'm a sports freak. Once I succeeded in body building,
and when my form gets worse I get stressed, so I have to constantly
keep on training.

[Junsu] Kanye West. I'd like to express his own personality as
"culture"...
[Nichkhun] Jinyoung-hyung. He's very serious while at work, but
when we're having fun, he sure knows how to relax.
[Taecyeon] My parents. For raising me up!
[Wooyoung] J.Y.Park. He always tells that we have to be the most
hard-working group in the industry, but in fact, he's the biggest hard-worker ever.

[Chansung] J.Y.Park. Whether he's singing, acting or making music,
I always think he is controlling himself well
